Pune, August 3: The Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, Loci Dikho, has laid the foundation stone for a hostel dedicated to students from the Northeast region of India. This initiative, named the ‘Swargiya Jamnabai Phirodia North East India Bhavan – Rani Gaidinliu Girls Hostel’, is being constructed at a cost of approximately ₹10 crore in Katraj, Pune. He stated that this project symbolizes the collective commitment of the country to support students and youth from all parts of India. “This project reflects our shared commitment to support youth from every corner of the country. The hostel is expected to serve as a permanent residence for students from Manipur studying in Pune, allowing them to focus on their studies without the challenges of finding suitable accommodation.
