PRASA turns to radio to announce train schedules

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) has revealed that, starting today on 3rd August, train schedules for Gauteng will be announced on radio station Ukhozi FM.
“Ukhozi FM is one of the biggest radio stations on the planet and the largest in Africa with its listener-ship in constant access of 7.6 million over the past decade.
Ukhozi FM is a South African radio station, broadcasting nationwide and streaming to the world,” reads the description of the station.
These announcements will come over the course of the day, appearing in three different Ukhozi FM shows as follows:Morning first train update: Ezanamuhla at 05:05, Morning second train update: Ukhozi Breakfast at 06:20, Morning third train update: Ukhozi Breakfast at 06:50, Afternoon train update: Woza Nabangani Bakho at 15:30 and 16:05.
While many associate local radio with cars, Ukhozi FM can be listened to anywhere through a website, or an official app.
