The Los Angeles Dodgers were apparently not done making trades after landing Tarik Skubal, and they just welcomed back a familiar face to the team, acquiring Ben Rortvedt from the New York Mets, according to Aram Leighton of Just BB Media. “The Mets are sending catcher Ben Rortvedt to the Dodgers for RHP Chayce McDermott. McDermott was DFA'd by the Dodgers on July 31st,” Leighton wrote on X, formerly Twitter. At this point, it's hard to count out the Dodgers and what other moves they have up their sleeves.
