After seven episodes worth of fleeing, Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) finally came into his own in the penultimate episode of House of the Dragon's third season. But it's not his time to die yet because his dragon, Sunfyre, is still alive and burns a chunk of Rhaenyra's bannermen. “I think he truly did believe that Sunfyre was dead, and I think Sunfyre was very close to being dead,” episode seven director Nina Lopez-Carrado told Entertainment Weekly.
