I don’t think we can speak of them in the past, because there’s something ongoing—a big churning. But now, I don’t think there’s ever been a public figure so mercilessly mocked by young people. It’s given people a way of doing things that I don’t think the older generation understood, or had the means for. I don’t think this young generation cares what anyone says about their language. I don’t think Manmohan Singh, or even Vajpayee, would have kept quiet about these daily jibes from Trump.
