The collection, donated by the Kyiv Region Children’s Library, was delivered to the library on Monday, July 20. The donation was organised by Boryspil District councillor Yuliia Semenova, whose family has lived in Bradford on Avon since 2022. Bradford on Avon mayor, Cllr Sam Blackwell, welcomed the donation and said it would benefit both Ukrainian residents and the wider community. He said: “We are very grateful to have more Ukrainian books in our local library. “We are glad to support them and having these books available locally helps them stay connected to their language, culture and heritage.”
