Tony Livesey has left BBC Radio 5 Live after 16 years, the BBC has confirmed. Before joining the BBC, Tony worked as editor-in-chief of Sullivan’s Daily and Sunday Sport publications. The BBC said Tony had requested a break from presenting while the issues raised by the investigation were examined. In an email to staff, 5 Live controller Heidi Dawson said Tony had now decided to leave the station. Heidi told colleagues that Tony wanted to pass on his thanks to those he had worked with at 5 Live.
