ReportPakistan Peoples Party Central Information Secretary Nadeem Afzal Chan on Monday accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz of manipulating the recent Kashmir election and called for re-polling in four disputed constituencies.
Chan claimed that the alleged margin used to influence results was around 10,000 votes in Punjab and 7,000 votes in Kashmir.
The PPP leader said his party did not want the election to become controversial but was compelled to respond to the PML-N’s manner of celebrating the results.
Chan further alleged that polling time was extended by one hour at the last moment without informing PPP candidates, while PML-N candidates were aware of the extension.
He said the PPP had demanded re-polling in four controversial constituencies but claimed the proposal had not received a positive response.
