India’s boxers had their best performance ever at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, winning a record 10 medals, including seven golds and three silvers. Boxing accounted for over a quarter of India’s total medals. The women’s team won five golds: Sakshi Chaudhary (51kg), Preeti Pawar (54kg), Jaismine Lamboria (57kg), Priya Ghanghas (60kg), and Arundhati Choudhary (70kg). This brought India’s total boxing gold medals to seven, a new high. Boxing contributed seven of India’s 13 golds and 10 of its 39 total medals, making it the country’s most successful sport at the Games.
