MAPLECREST, N.Y. (WNYT)- A 10-year-old critically injured in a UTV crash that killed a 12-year-old in Maplecrest Friday, July 31, is still considered critical as of Monday, August 3, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. Four youths between the ages of 10-14 were in a UTV accident in the area of 84 CR 56 just before 8 p.m. Friday. Sheriff’s deputies say the UTV veered off the driveway of the home and hitting a boulder. The 12-year-old and 10-year-old were pinned under the UTV by the accident. On Monday, the sheriff’s office said there was no other information available on the crash that could be released.
