A prosecutor from the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Olomouc has indicted former justice minister Pavel Blažek, his former deputy Radomír Daňhel, lawyer Kárim Titz, and convicted drug dealer Tomáš Jiřikovský over the so-called bitcoin case, the Czech News Agency reported on Monday.
The case concerns a cryptocurrency donation worth nearly CZK 1 billion that Jiřikovský, a previously convicted drug dealer, gave to the Justice Ministry.
Authorities allege the cryptocurrency was of dubious origin.
The prosecutor is seeking a prison sentence of six and a half years for Blažek.
