Bengaluru: The Bangalore Ophthalmic Society (BOS) concluded its two-day BOS Summit 2026, bringing together leading ophthalmologists, retina specialists, researchers, academicians and postgraduate students from across the country to deliberate on the latest developments in eye care and clinical practice. Karnataka Ophthalmic Society President Dr. Shivaram and KMC Observer Dr. Diwakar were among the dignitaries present. Following the award presentation, Dr. Giridhar delivered the BOS Golden Oration titled "Seeing Beyond Vision," emphasising innovation, patient-centric care and the importance of mentoring the next generation of eye specialists. BOS Summit 2026 also hosted the PG Triathlon 2026, providing postgraduate students with an opportunity to demonstrate their clinical skills, innovation, communication abilities and teamwork. The organising committee included Dr. Arun Samprathi, Dr. Sandhyaa Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Anuradha A, Dr. Priyank Solanki and Dr. Venkatasubramaniam G. The summit reaffirmed BOS' commitment to promoting excellence in ophthalmic education, research and patient care.
