But for the past three years, he fought to keep his name - and his sex crimes - a secret due to his mental health. On Monday, Mr Dann informed the court Carr no longer wished to pursue the order and it was revoked. Carr joins another high-profile man from sporting circles who kept his rape conviction hidden during his rape trial. Mr Dann said Carr maintained his innocence and planned to apply for a rare stay on his sentence, pending an appeal hearing against his convictions.
