The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, Professor Abdulrahman Shehu has pledged to provide affordable and efficient tertiary healthcare services while improving operational efficiency and staff motivation at the institution. Professor Shehu said his reform agenda is aimed at transforming the facility into a leading centre of excellence, with renewed focus on staff welfare, infrastructure development and quality healthcare delivery. Speaking during an interaction with media correspondents in Kogi State, Professor Shehu said his administration “is committed to improved service delivery, teamwork, professionalism and patient-centred care.” Professor Shehu said staff welfare and development remain a top priority, stressing that “creating a conducive working environment and boosting staff morale are essential to achieving quality healthcare delivery.” He urged him to remain innovative and selfless in transforming the teaching hospital.
