The Warhammer 40,000 animated series in development by Amazon will tell a "long-form story" featuring The Deathwatch, with Henry Cavill set to serve as an executive producer. The series will begin as a spinoff from the Warhammer 40,000 episode of Secret Level, Amazon's animated anthology series that aired back in 2024, Amazon announced previously. This is on top of a further Warhammer episode of Secret Level set to debut in the series' upcoming second season, though set in the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar universe. Exactly how many episodes the series will feature remains to be seen, though Wilson has described the project as a "long-form story" set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Warhammer 40,000 is already set to become a live-action series, with Amazon and Cavill still working on that.
