North Star has finalised a £275 million debt financing scheme, which will give it a cash injection to build new ships and fund acquisitions.
Currently, the business is the world’s largest operator of service operation vessels (SOVs), a title it claimed after acquiring four SOVs from Edda Wind.
Fraser Dobbie, chief financial officer of North Star, said: “This deal reflects the scale we’ve built and the path we are on.
