He also works as a senior adviser for US tech giants Microsoft and Anthropic, and has declared share-based payments worth £370,000 from Anthropic, again said to have been handed to charity. Former science minister George Freeman, who has previously warned that politics is becoming unaffordable, has declared around £310,000 from adviser roles.
