Garden City Public Schools is launching new teacher orientations and in-service training for the 2026–2027 academic year. The school district has more than 40 new teachers who will gather for orientation at Garden City High School on Monday, August 3rd. This will kick off an almost weeks-long introduction to the school district. These sessions are part of Garden City Public Schools’ work to create a continual learning community that supports staff by providing the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to be successful at educating all students across the school district. Garfield Early Childhood Center will start school on Monday, August 17, 2026.
