Rachel Grant and Ben Ward, both aged 36 and of Clwyd Street, are accused of attempting to murder Charles Prescot on July 23. Their charges followed 32-year-old Gareth Griffith, of River Street, Rhyl, and a 17-year-old male who cannot be named, also being charged with attempted murder in relation to the same incident. Grant and Ward attended Llandudno Magistrates Court on Friday (July 31), where they were remanded into custody. They will next appear at Mold Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Friday, August 28. Griffith and the 17-year-old will also attend Mold Crown Court on the same day.
