Samuel Huggins, 56, has previously charged with attempted murder and arson with intent to endanger life, after police were called to a flat in Ipswich. Huggins, of Station Street, remotely attended a hearing on Friday before Ipswich’s resident judge, Her Honour Judge Samantha Leigh. There, Judge Leigh informed Huggins that his trial will commence on August 10, in just over one week’s time.
