The incident took place in Ipswich, on Ravenswood Avenue, at around 3.35pm on Saturday, August 1, following a confrontation between the driver of a bus and the driver of a grey BMW. As the bus approached a grey BMW, a man shouted out, prompting the bus driver to stop. The BMW driver then got out of his car and reportedly began shouting and swearing at the bus driver. The second punch caused the bus driver to fall to the ground. The bus driver was taken to hospital, where he was treated for a broken nose, facial lacerations requiring stitches, and grazes and bruising.
