Mulligan game café has opened in the former Geek Retreat store on Upper Brook Street in the town centre hoping to provide "really special spot". In board games, a 'mulligan' refers to a second-chance action, effectively a do-over with the term originally associated with golf. "It's a fantastic opportunity to kind of have a mulligan and start again. Yeah, we're hoping just to make a really special spot for people to come and hang out." [The previous store] had so many special memories for people, accomplished a lot, and we're hoping that as Mulligan we can make something as good."
