Brit Award winners the Kaiser Chiefs are set to open next year’s festival on Friday, May 28. Festival director James Murden said: “Kaiser Chiefs have been high on our wish list for a long time and they’re the perfect way to kick off our 2027 music announcements. Kaiser Chiefs are an incredible way to launch our music announcements, but they’re only the beginning. More music announcements will follow over the coming months, with organisers promising another packed programme of entertainment. The festival has already confirmed its 2027 Comedy Gala, featuring Rob Beckett, Dara Ó Briain, Rhys James and Lou Sanders.
