Free circus skills sessions are being held at Victoria Embankment while the paddling pool remains temporarily closed. Nottingham City Council has arranged the family activities with Circus Hub Nottingham during the summer holidays. Children and young people will be able to try juggling, hula hooping, plate spinning, balancing and other circus tricks and games. A special aerial workshop will also be held on Wednesday 5 August, offering participants the opportunity to try trapeze, aerial silks and aerial hoop using Circus Hub Nottingham’s aerial rig. The council said the events had been organised to give families another reason to visit the park while work continues to reopen the paddling pool.
