Two adults in distress drowned Sunday before rescuers could pull them from the ocean Sunday morning at Holden Beach. According to WECT in Wilmington, emergency crews responded to the beach near Ocean Boulevard West around 9:45 a.m. Sunday after Brunswick County received reports of two people struggling in the water.
