Old Mutual Foundation invests N$900,000 to power street sports initiative

The Old Mutual Foundation has officially signed on as the title sponsor for the Street Sport Namibia Initiative, committing N$900,000 toward youth development and community empowerment across the country.
It is designed to combine sport and entrepreneurship to unlock potential and create sustainable opportunities for young Namibians.
“The Old Mutual Foundation delivers a wide range of social initiatives throughout Namibia, aligning with our purpose to support national and local development in the communities in which we operate,” said Mignon du Preez, Old Mutual Namibia Group Marketing, Public Affairs and Sustainability Executive.

The Street Sport Namibia Initiative will launch in a phased approach across the three target towns, beginning in Swakopmund on Sunday, 09 August, followed by Ondangwa, and concluding in Windhoek on 16 August.
