Jack Tweed, the widower of Big Brother star Jade Goody, has been banned from driving after admitting being behind the wheel under the influence of cannabis. He was stopped on Three Mile Hill, near Chelmsford in Essex, on 6 December 2025 and arrested after he failed a roadside drug swipe. At Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Monday, Tweed, 39, pleaded guilty to one charge of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit. He apologised to the court and said he had taken the drug to "help me sleep" after experiencing depression and anxiety. The court fined Tweed £692 and ordered him to pay a surcharge of £277 and costs of £85.
