North Yorkshire Police said the reported assaults happened between Wednesday, July 22, and Saturday, July 25 , but “we believe there could be more [alleged] victims”. All the incidents are said to have happened between 9pm and 3am within the city walls, according to the force. A police spokesperson said the “suspect” was dressed in black clothing, aged between 35-45 years old, and was carrying a “distinguishable food delivery backpack while riding a black bicycle with one headlight on the handlebar”.
