Monty, a black Poodle Shar-Pei cross, was taken during a break-in at a property in Danes Way, Pilgrims Hatch, near Brentwood, around 2.30am on Sunday, August 2. He has now been located, fit and well, near to his home in Pilgrim's Hatch and has been reunited with his owners. An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are still investigating the burglary and the theft of Monty."
