Officers were called to a report of a "medical episode and assault" at around 9.50pm yesterday (Sunday, August 2). Thames Valley Police said they believe no one has been seriously injured. The police force issued a warning just before 4.30am this morning (Monday, August 3), telling drivers that Asheridge Road is closed by the junctions of Shortway, Bevan Hill, and Chiltern Court Trading Estate. "We have an increased police presence in the area," police said, "and anyone with concerns can speak to a uniformed officer." Police thanked the public for avoiding the area and said they will provide more information when they can.
