I have never seen love cause a child to go hungry. I have never seen love prevent a student from receiving an education. I have never seen love destroy communities or deny peopleopportunities. I have seen young people hide who they are out of fear. And perhaps that is the lesson our generation must carry forward: when history remembers us, may it never say that we stood against love while injustice stood unchallenged.
