A man whose dog was put down after being found in a cupboard while severely ill has been given a ten-year ban from owning animals.
Luke Larcombe’s pet Tiko was discovered by an SSPCA inspector at his home in Glasgow’s Springburn on December 19, 2024.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that the SSPA received a report about a dog being at the property.
An inspector went for an initial visit and was told by Larcombe that he did not own a dog.
Larcombe told the inspector that he had “no money” to treat the dog.
