Stirling Council says it is not aware of an increased number of rats in Callander. The Callander local, who asked not to be named, said: “Hopefully our rat problem will be resolved quickly, but the main problem is bigger than our one house. “We should be seeing Stirling Council actively in the area or speaking to residents with advice on what to do.” Earlier this year, rats were also spotted at Callander Primary School, also in Bridgend. Last year, The Courier revealed the Stirling Council areas where the most pest control treatments were carried out at residential addresses.
