Cheshire Police says that officers in Latchford have been granted a closure order to shut down an address that has caused a persistent nuisance for neighbouring residents.
Warrington Magistrates’ Court has granted a three-month closure order against the address on Reynolds Street.
Anyone who enters the property during the three-month period could face either a serious fine or a prison sentence.
“These incidents caused a sense of fear among members of the community, feeling that their lives were being suitably disrupted,” a Cheshire Police spokesman said.
“These reports also regularly resulted in policing resources being diverted to the address to respond to incidents involving the occupant and their associates.”
