Two recent surveys put former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg at the front of the potential 2028 Democratic field. Undecided voters finished second at 21.7 percent. The polls so far suggest Democratic voters are not thinking about it nearly as hard. Harris finished at 8 percent, behind all four, while 13 percent remained undecided. So far, Democratic voters seem considerably less enthusiastic about reliving 2024.
