Fast-paced action on show as annual Canoe Polo tournament returns to the water

The Julie Morris International, an annual Welsh open competition, took place at Castle Pond in Pembroke across August 1 and 2 and attracted teams and spectators from across the UK and Ireland.
Hosted by the Dragon Canoe Club, the event honours Julie Morris, a passionate club member and canoe polo advocate, and is regarded as a key fixture on the canoe polo calendar.

First written about in the UK in the mid-1950s, canoe polo became a World Games sport in 2005 and continues to expand around the world.
