Christopher Hanratty, 51, of St Teilos Road, Pembroke Dock pleaded not guilty to the allegation of intentional strangulation. He is accused of assaulting the woman in Pembroke on April 25. The defendant was remanded in custody. A mention hearing has been scheduled at Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court on August 4 with Hanratty due to attend by video link. He was represented by Alex Scott.
