Swansea City midfielder Billy Clarke has signed his first professional contract at the club. The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal running through until the end of June 2027. Clarke recently picked up the Under-18s' Player of the Season award at the annual Academy Awards, alongside the Tony Thomas Award; in recognition of his hard work in education and skills outside of football. Clarke netted 12 goals in all competitions last term across outings for the under-18s and under-21s. In January, he scored a 120th-minute winner against Leeds United in the FA Youth Cup to send the young Swans into the fifth round for the first time in over 15 years.
