The walk-in clinic at Grantfield is set to begin a seven-day service next week. The Grantfield walk-in clinic will start opening from 5pm to 8pm on weeknights in addition to its existing weekend schedule, NHS Shetland announced this afternoon (Monday). Additional weekday opening hours will be introduced in the coming months as the pilot develops. Deepa Shah, NHS Shetland’s associate medical director for primary care, said: “Since opening in May, we’ve received very positive feedback from patients using the walk-in clinic. “There may be occasions when we need to adjust opening hours to reflect available staffing, but we’ll communicate any changes as early as possible.
