Hong Kong police have arrested a mother and her aunt after she allegedly mistakenly fed her two children cannabis-infused sweets, resulting in them needing hospital treatment.
The girl vomited, while the boy briefly lost consciousness, according to police.
Emergency services rushed the children to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei for treatment.
A source said the mother, 41, found a box of sweets with English labelling and gave some to her children before going shopping on Monday, leaving them alone.
The children were brought to Hong Kong from mainland China by their mother to visit relatives and were staying at the home of their 61-year-old great aunt.
