News Investigators/ The Kano State Censorship Board has shut down Kausar Unique Empire Ltd., popularly known as ‘Back to Back,’ over alleged indecent advertisements on social media. This is contained in a statement issued on Sunday in Kano by the board’s spokesman, Abdullahi Sani-Sulaiman. According to him, the promotional materials breached cultural values, moral standards and regulations governing commercial advertising activities within Kano State. “The advertisements violated the cultural values, moral standards and established regulations guiding commercial promotions in the state,” he said. The spokesman added that the board would continue collaborating with relevant stakeholders to curb unethical promotional activities and protect public morality.
