Residents were left horrified after a car was left battered and wedged on the bonnet of another vehicle in Sunderland yesterday. Northumbria Police has now confirmed that a Suzuki collided with two stationary vehicles before the driver fled the scene. "It was reported that, for reasons yet to be established, a Suzuki has collided with two stationary vehicles. "The driver of the Suzuki fled the scene prior to officers arriving." Pictures from the scene showed a blue car wedged on two wheels against the bonnet of another car and debris scattered across the pavement.
