Emergency services were called to the A172, between Thirsk Road and Little Busby, earlier today (August 3) following a crash. North Yorkshire Police said the road is expected to be closed for some time - with AA Traffic News now showing slow traffic on either side of the closure. It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the incident or taken to hospital. A force spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with a two-vehicle road traffic collision between Thirsk Road and Little Busby. “The road is expected to be closed for some time.
