Jesse Reaney is one of three teenagers accused of murdering drug addict David Cuthbert inside his own home just hours after they robbed a woman in the street.
Layton Lightfoot, 18, Jesse Reaney, 18, and Charlie Wilcock, 19, are on trial at Teesside Crown Court accused of murder.
Reaney told the court how he climbed into Mr Cuthbert’s home after he started getting ‘aggressive’ with him when he asked to come into his bungalow to smoke a joint.
He told the court Wilcock then came into Mr Cuthbert’s bedroom and joined in the attack.
His barrister, Peter Moulson KC, asked Reaney about the hood of his jacket which came off inside Mr Cuthbert’s home.
