Now, the IOPC has ordered Herts Constabulary to re-examine two elements of Mr Tewson’s complaint previously rejected by the force.
Speaking about the latest development, Mr Tewson said: “It’s always one step forward and two steps back.

Herts Constabulary has stated it wished to “reiterate its sincere condolences and sympathy” to Mr Tewson about the death of Mr Gough.
