Staff and pupils at a Wrexham primary school are celebrating after receiving a glowing inspection report from Estyn. “Staff monitor pupils’ needs closely and identify suitable interventions and additional support effectively. Where necessary, teachers adapt planning appropriately to pupils’ individual targets and deploy support staff effectively. The school was particularly praised for its strong relationship between pupils and staff, with the report stating: “There is a strong sense of belonging amongst staff and pupils and this ethos underpins the school’s work. Estyn made two recommendations:strengthen the governing body’s ability to support and challenge school leadersimprove communication with parents about pupils’ progress and the school’s work.
