UPDATE 9:22PM: Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District reports forward progress on the Diablo fire has been stopped. Evacuation warnings have been lifted. Evacuation warnings are in place for the area east of New Washoe City, south of Toll Road. ***Carson City Fire Department was called Sunday evening to assist Truckee Meadows Fire and the Bureau of Land Management with a brush fire in the area of Ophir Road and Eastlake Road, two miles southeast of Pleasant Valley in Washoe County. At this time there are no evacuation warnings or evacuation notices for Storey County residents, including those in the Virginia City Highlands.
