The weather agency has issued yellow warning of heavy rain and thunderstorm for different parts of the state till the morning of August 10. On August 4-5, heavy rain is likely to occur at some places over the district of Mayurbhanj. On August 5-6, heavy rain is set to lash the districts of Baleshwar, Sundaragada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Gajapati. On August 6-7, heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Sundaragada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Kandhamala, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati. The weather agency has also forecast heavy rainfall at some places over the districts of Kandhamala, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam districts till the morning of August 10.
