Developer's bid to demolish garages for homes deferred after objections

Slough Observer | News
Belgravia Prime, the applicant, is now seeking permission to demolish the garages and build two homes in their place.
But the proposals came before a Slough planning committee meeting on Wednesday after several objections from neighbours.
Objectors’ comments said there will be no turning room for delivery vehicles and said it is ‘unclear’ whether emergency vehicles could access the site.
He added that approving the plans would lead to emergency vehicles such as fire engines not having access to existing properties or new proposed homes.
Councillors wanted to see the servicing arrangements to make sure refuse and emergency vehicles can indeed access the site.
