Workers connected the bridge to the road network from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2. The bridge, on the north side of the roundabout, was opened to the public on Monday, August 3, along with a new M3 southbound off-slip. The junction was closed from Friday, July 31, to Monday, August 3, for the work. The later closures are to facilitate more work, including connecting the new bridge on the south side of the roundabout. During each closure, stretches of the A34, A33, Easton Lane, and A272 Spitfire Link will be closed.
